Pucci Barbie – “Air Barbie” Special Edition (BA Design)

This project reimagines the glamour and optimism of 1960s jet-set fashion through a Pucci Barbie lens, a playful homage to both the golden age of travel and the enduring iconography of Barbie herself. Inspired by Pucci Airlines and the exuberant energy of mid-century resort wear, the collection celebrates femininity, freedom, and fantasy.

The design features a custom “Barbie Box” print I digitally composed myself, layered with bold florals and geometric patterns that reference vintage Pucci textiles. The trench coat and mini dress combination merge sophistication with sass: structured tailoring meets youthful flirtation.

Framed within a retro “Special Edition” Barbie box, the presentation blurs the line between toy and couture, fashion object and collectible. Pucci Barbie becomes both muse and pilot, a symbol of movement, style, and self-expression soaring through eras of fashion history.
