The Lotus Dress is a return to intuitive creation, the first design paving the way for a new flow based philosophy for my label: One concept/ dress at a time. Rooted in the symbolism of the lotus flower, a bloom that rises untouched through muddy waters, radiating purity and light. The mud represents the trials of life, the weight of projections, and the unseen struggles we move through in silence. Yet, like the lotus, we can rise, allowing it to wash away, never taking it on.

This piece is a meditation on resilience, trust, and perfect timing. The lotus blooms only when ready, reminding us that growth often happens in unseen solitude, and that beauty unfolds in its own season.

The design itself nods to this journey. Flowing details mirror the fluidity of water, while the hand-painted print and accompanying concept illustration reflects a return to my roots in painting. The childlike joy of creating, the grounding of nature, the freedom of self-expression now at the heart of my process.

The Lotus Dress is both garment and story, a reminder to root down, trust the cycles, and rise into the light when the moment and clarity arrives.
