‘Le Lotus’ The Rebirth of Kiara-Bella

A New Chapter: Blooming with the Lotus

I’ve been on a journey, through fashion as the world often knows it, with its cycles, its pressure, and its pace. But over time I’ve felt the pull toward something more authentic, something that reflects not just clothing but a more natural way of being and creating. This relaunch is my shift into a flow-based philosophy rooted in artistry, intention, and heart.

For me, creating has never been about seasons or trends. It’s about inspired rhythm, the kind that comes from painting in the studio, walking in nature, or letting ideas bloom slowly until they’re ready. I grew up in nature, surrounded by trees, paintbrushes, and the freedom to explore. That foundation has shaped the way I move through design: slowly, thoughtfully, with a deep respect for materials, stories, and the human hands that bring them to life.

This new chapter of my label reflects that philosophy. Small story-telling drops as art pieces, handprinted textiles, natural fibres, and collaborations with artisan makers in India who sew each piece with care. It’s fashion as an offering, not mass-produced, but born from moments of flow and meant to be cherished.

I returned to my childhood home to bring this new chapter to life, and the lotus became the symbol of this rebirth. Nearby my home are lakes full of lotus flowers that I’ve always loved since I was a little girl. The concept felt fitting as sometimes you need to go back to your roots and spend time ‘underwater’ to reconnect with your purest inner self and reemerge blooming in greater alignment than before when the new day finally dawns. In perfect timing the lotus rises from the mud to bloom with clarity and grace, a cycle of resilience, renewal, and beauty that feels deeply aligned with my own path. This dress is a story stitched in linen and Tencel, printed with my brushstrokes, and shaped to celebrate feminine strength and delicacy. Painting/illustration was my first creative love as a child, this is something I want to keep close in my design work, so I have hand painted the print for the Lotus Dress, as well as a Lotus themed fashion illustration to compliment the dress.

As I relaunch, my hope is that each piece I create becomes not just something you wear, but something you experience. I want you to feel connected to the artistry, to the philosophy, and to the intention behind every detail. These are garments designed to be understood, held close, and worn with meaning.

This is only the beginning, and I’m so grateful to share it with you. May the Lotus be a reminder: even from stillness and solitude, beauty and deeper connection blooms.

With love,

Kiara-Bella
